1.       What courses are offered online?

2.       Is there a limit to the number of online courses I can take?

4.       How do I pay for my courses?

Once a student registers for a course, the Business Office will post the tuition and fees to the student portal.  The student may pay the bill by cash, check, or credit card.  No student will be given access to the online course until the bill is paid.

5.       Will I qualify for financial aid?

To be eligible for financial aid at ag体育, you must:

  • 做一个U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen

  • Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an eligible degree 程序 or seeking endorsements to meet requirements of Mississippi Department of Education certification
  • Be in current standing on all student loans and grants from any institutionHave approval for final admission to ag体育

  • Have a complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with ag体育
  • Apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) at http://www.销.ed.政府 (if you do not already have  one).

  • Complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.政府.  ag体育 school code is 002398.

  • Contact the Office of 金融援助 after you have completed your FAFSA.  The financial aid staff will provide the forms required to process a federal loan.

        Remaining steps may include:

  • Complete 金融援助 for Teacher Certification Form

  • Complete Loan Application

  • Complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling

On campus students register in the Office of the Registrar.  Online students, go to Registration.  Print, complete and fax the appropriate registration form.  If you prefer, a registration form can be sent via email.

11.     How can I prepare to take online courses?

You will be allowed to complete an online training session to assist you in the mechanics of taking an online course.  Once you are registered, the Program Coordinator will email you instructions for training.

12.     What is the procedure for drop销g online courses by traditional, on-ground students?

A student may receive a refund for course tuition, if the course is dropped prior to the fifth day after the student receives access to course content. After the student receives access to course content and after four days of access, the course tuition is non-refundable. 学生 who officially drop an online course after the refund deadline and during the first week of the online term will receive a “W” grade in the class. 学生 who drop an online course after the first week will receive a “WP” or “WF.” 学生 may not drop an online course after the fourth week of the online term.

13.     What is your online class attendance policy?

ag体育 requires class attendance for online courses. 根据政策2.10, students who miss 12.5% of the time will receive an automatic “F” in the course. Each online professor will include an attendance requirement in the syllabus. Since each of the online courses meets eight weeks, one week of non-attendance, which is 12.5% of the time in the course, will result in an automatic “F.” Seventy-five percent of the assignments for the week must be completed within the week to receive full attendance.
